Well, we wound up driving through the famous downtown of Eagle River In the UP (Upper Peninsula) with the awning frame five feet back and three feet out from the side our new-to-us 24 ft Keystone Cougar fifth wheel with the locals honking because obviously we were not the wiser.

Earlier that day at the gas station we overheard two parallel pumping RVers commiserating over their respective “money pits.” How much is truly our own faults in these matters?!
